Every plan includes the complete double-entry ledger and every accounting feature on the features page. Plans differ by how many people need access — never by what the software is allowed to do.
Every plan starts with a 15-day free trial, and signing up takes no credit card. You enter one when you decide to stay, not before — so the trial ends by your choosing rather than by charging you.
Every plan is billed monthly or annually. Annual is nine months' price for twelve — a quarter off, and the arithmetic is on this page rather than in a footnote.

Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Every plan begins with a 15-day free trial and signing up asks for an email address and a password — nothing else. You add a card when you decide to keep going, which means the trial cannot quietly turn into a charge.
What happens after the 15 days?
Your books stay yours. If you have not subscribed, the account becomes read-only rather than closed: you can still open every screen, run every report and export everything. Nothing is deleted, and subscribing later picks up exactly where you left off.
Is the accounting ever the upsell?
No. Inventory, projects, multi-currency, fixed assets and custom reports are in every plan. We think gating the books behind a higher tier is the wrong way to price accounting software.
What happens when I add someone?
Plans include a number of users. When you outgrow one, you move to the next.
Can I get my data out?
Yes. Every report exports, and the whole API that the apps use is available to you — the web and mobile apps are built on it, so there is nothing it cannot reach.
Do you do payroll?
No. Run the payroll provider you already trust and record the results in Summely.
Do you process card payments?
Not today. Your invoices state how you would like to be paid, and you keep whatever arrangement you already have.
